Y stands for rubber insulation and C for heavy-duty cable. The inner sheath is also rubber insulated and the conductor is copper wire. Rubber cable is divided into heavy cable (YC cable), medium cable (YZ cable) and light cable (YQ cable). The insulation layer of good YC cable is made of pure natural rubber, and the conductor is made of oxygen-free copper rod with good electrical conductivity.
